Tonight the year 4's are off to Kelly Tarltons and the following day the year 3's are going for the day,
and the year 4's are having a sleep over instead and staying up until 11'oclock!!!

Today Cole and I were trying to take a picture on the camera of a spotted shag but we failed when we tried to take a picture as it flew away :(
We started the day with some writing, we wrote information reports about ice-cream and we liked it a lot plus there was a photo that Miss Barr should put on the class blog!!

Last Friday, while the Y4's were at Mandarin,  the year 3's made a kaheru( a spade in Maori) and

First we were given a newspaper, a piece of cardboard, 2m string and as much tape as we needed. In teams of 3 we had 15 minutes to make a kaheru that could move dirt. We practiced in our class garden and   team one and team four are the best  team. We are going to have another competition to find out the overall winner
We had lots of fun and it was way harder than I thought! Next time it would be better to have your own tape as it kept getting messed up with everyone using it!!
