Phonetically Speaking

While on camp many of us had the opportunity to practice using UHF (ultra high frequency) radios:
We learnt the protocols surrounding their use and buddied up to practice:

I think I saw it on the picnic table near the shelter.

We also learnt that every letter has a word attached to it, to make it clear to use on the radio:

CAMP GEAR LIST

                          This is a camping trip. Please keep gear to a minimum.
